Vanilla Strawberry Swiss Roll

150g Fresh Strawberries

Chiffon Batter

  1. Slightly mix milk, corn oil and whole eggs together until smooth.
  2. Mix the cake flour and baking powder into the egg mixture.
  3. Add the egg yolk into the mixture and mix until smooth.
  4. Whip the egg whites, sugar and cream of tartar into a meringue.
  5. Fold the meringue into the cake batter.
  6. Spread onto a lined baking tray and bake.
  7. Baking Temperature: Top and Bottom/ 170°C
  8. Baking Time: 15 to 20 minutes

Décor

  1. Whip Value Pride into soft peak.
  2. Cut strawberries into quarters.
  3. Spread a layer of the whipped Value Pride onto the cake and evenly place the strawberry across.
  4. Roll up the cake and chill for 2 hours.
  5. Slice the roll into individual portion and serve.
